Win Butler Wins Celebrity Game MVP as Team Canada Beats Team USA

The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game featured plenty of the usual hijinks, bricks and celebrities not that many people actually know, and when it was all over, Drake’s Team Canada defeated Kevin Hart’s Team USA, 74-64.

Noted hoops enthusiast Win Butler of the band Arcade Fire took home MVP honors thanks to a 15-point, 14-rebound double-double. Butler had some issues finishing around the basket and shot just 6-of-17, but I think we can forgive him considering the amount of off-target shots in the game. Although I don’t think we can forgive him for trying to give his political takes while accepting his MVP trophy and retiring from the Celebrity Game.

In perhaps the most predictable event of the game, Hart, a four-time Celebrity Game MVP, left the sidelines (and Celebrity Game retirement) and suited up for his squad. He proceeded to try to take over the game in the second half, but he failed miserably with several air-balls.

The star of Team USA was actor Jason Sudeikis, who drilled four three-pointers and also had a nifty layup. Sudeikis did all of this with significant other Olivia Wilde sitting front row next to Spike Lee, because sure why not:

This game also featured a whole lot of Tracy McGrady, and some of it was quite sad. There was an air-balled three and this:

Not quite as impressive as this:

Oh, there was also a dunk in this game:

Fun times had by all.
